  • Can I sell my graded cards on Hearts webstore?
    Not at this time, but we are looking at creating a marketplace for our subscribers in the future.
  • Does Hearts purchase cards?
    Yes. On occasion a representative of Hearts may contact you to make a fair market offer on one of your cards. We will disclose the final grade of the card prior to making an offer. You are under no obligation to accept any offer from Hearts.
  • Does Hearts offer any discounts on grading services?
    Yes, please subscribe to Hearts newsletter to receive special offers and discounts on future card grading services.
  • Can I submit cards if I live outside the United States?
    We are only accepting cards at this time from people living within the United States. The returned card must be shipped to a United States mailing address. It is our goal to open up global operations at some point in the future.
  • Can I get an autographed card graded?
    We are not grading autographed cards at this time, however, we are currently sourcing for a grader that is certified to authenticate autographs. Stay tuned.
  • How long will it take before I receive my graded cards?
    We have several grading options and service level agreements for each service type. Service options range from 2 weeks to 2 months.
  • What type of cards can I submit for grading?
    We are currently accepting standard sized Pokemon cards in both English and Japanese language for grading. We will be expanding grading services to Yu-Gi-Oh! and Magic: The Gathering in the near future.
  • How do you ensure my card is secured while at Hearts?
    Your cards are locked in our secure facility inside a fire proof safe prior to being serviced. We do not publish the address of our grading facility as an added layer of security.
  • What happens if my card cannot be graded?
    If your card cannot be graded for any reason, it will be returned to you in the card sleeve and case it arrived with the rest of your completed order. You will not be charged for grading services for that card. If the card cannot be graded and was the only card submitted, it will be returned to you in the sleeve and card saver it arrived in. You will not be charged for grading services, but you will be charged the applicable shipping cost to return it.
  • Can I have my card authenticated but not graded?
    Yes, after your order please send a message to our support team requesting which card(s) you would like to authenticate but not grade. The label will have an AUTH instead of a grade. Regular service fees apply.
  • If I choose the optional insurance, what should I use as the declared value?
    We offer optional insurance on return shipping that you can choose during check-out. You determine the declared value. The insurance is provided by USPS up to $5000. Please check with USPS for additional details on insurance plans, limitations, and coverage.
  • Will my card sleeve and card savers be returned to me?
    No, these items will be discarded once your card is secured in our card slabs.

  • Do I need to insure my cards?
    We highly recommend that you do, but this is optional coverage. We use USPS Express shipping, which comes with $50 of insurance coverage. You are eligible to select additional insurance coverage at check out, up to $5000. The insurance plan you select should match the declared value of your cards for 100% coverage.
  • How should I prepare my cards for shipping?
    Please see our packing guide for recommended packaging of your cards for transit.
